Sad for many of us still though, that are seeing that a manual intervention is the only way to save a situation like this. I have a similar problem, google is lagging way behind my other traffic sources, googlebot visits every day but has indexed less than 5% of my site (after a strong start). 

Too bad that the algorithm is failing to the point where manual tweaks and favors are the only saving graces nowadays. What a mess....</description>
